Rekan-rekan Emmauser, kami mendapat ucapan selamat dan terima kasih, dari teman-teman Amerika yang berkunjung saat retret kemarin. Saya rasa surat ini untuk anda semua, bukan saya saja. Dan saya meminta anda merespon/menjawab surat ini, boleh dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris, nanti akan saya rangkum, translate dan kirimkan kepada mereka. Dear Anton, Eddy, Pras, and EJ leadership team,

Thank you for all your help and consideration during our time in Jakarta, Bogor, and in-between. We were all overwhelmed by your generosity of Spirit and strong support. Your many examples of living out of the love of Christ were evident throughout our stay. We were impressed by each of your individual journey's with Jesus living out the Emmaus Journey Vision and Mission. It was a very unique privilege for each of us to participate and have a part in this significant milestone, the 10th generation of EJ-Indonesia.

Eddy took us to St. Monica's and St. Laurentius on our way to the airport. We were very impressed with both and with the significant role that EJ plays in supporting the life of the Church and perhaps most importantly, the emphasis you all place on the inner conversion and transformation. We learned many things that we believe can apply in the EJ work in the United States.

Please pass this on to your leadership team as I do not have all the e-mail addresses.

We all returned safely and Darlene did really well throughout the trip and especially during the long plane ride. She went for a massage today and is doing well. Thank you for asking.

Yes, I am interested in receiving the materials when you can get to it. (No hurry on this) I am interested in your EJ program, leadership training, and organizational approach if you have these already available. Please do not create anything new however, and with Paul, we have someone who can translate from Indonesian to English.

We will also be compiling a list for you of available EJ materials and other related programs that we mentioned including marriage enrichment and ACTS.

Dear EJ Family in Indonesia,

We wholeheartedly agree with Henry's words expressing the amazing experience we had while visiting with all of you and many others from our newly extended EJ family in Indonesia. Just as the hearts of the two disciples walking with Jesus down the Emmaus Road were burning as He was speaking with them, so we returned with our hearts burning with so much that we received throughout our stay and visit with all of you. We returned with so many ideas and so much we want to share and implement with our friends and co-laborers here.

We also, very much, would like to be included in receiving any materials related to the EJ ministry that you can send us. We look so forward to sharing these with others here.

I had also sent an email to Eddy re: the EJ T-shirts, tote bags, and lanyards used for the nametags, but haven't heard from him yet. We'd be interested in learning where to order more if desired, and hopefully, can have some of our own for the U.S. EJ ministry here. Our two youngest daughters are very interested in ordering a WHITE T-shirt (size small), as is Liz (size medium).

I (Liz) also spoke with Dewi re: a copy of the DVD from the conference, and lyrics and music to the songs (in English, if possible) that were sung during the conference. One we especially are hopeful to have a translation for is the "Emmaus Journey" theme song. though everything was so beautiful!!!
We were so blessed by the music ministry, and are eager to introduce some of those catchy melodies to our group here.

Sometime after Easter, we and the Abeyta's are planning to meet with our EJ Team to give them a summary of our trip, and to share this great experience with them. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
